Chapter 46. OFFENSES AND MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS

§ 46-8. Yard sale signs.

Any person who fails to retrieve and remove any yard sale, garage sale, basement sale or similar sale sign within 24 hours of the conclusion of the sale, or within 72 hours of its posting, shall be subject to a civil fine of $5.00 for each such sign left posted. Any such signs left in any place visible from the town rights-of-way are to be removed by town employees and presented to the town clerk, who will levy the fine prescribed by this section.
